Name: Cassius Vaisey Nicknames (and who is likely to use them): Vaisey, Cass Age: 27 Birthday: April 5, 1979 Place of Residence: 4 Agrippa Circuit - lives with Percy Weasley
Appearance
Height: 5'9" Weight: 180 Eyes: Blue Hair Colour & Style: Blond, curly, short Skin tone: light, but he tans easily Build: slim, but fit and musclar. He works out, and keeps himself in shape. Distinguishing Marks: A ragged scar across the left side of his torso across the lower ribs (from the battle in London). Dress Style: (remember that most wizards would wear robes, and that there is a war going on which might effect supplies) Vaisey loves expensive fabrics and heavy dress robes in rich colours - he just can't afford them (and his old ones are locked in his manor). If needed he transfigures them, but he is also not above accepting gifts (under all possible pretences of course). When not dressed up he usually wears ordinary robes or muggle clothes (though he'd let very few see him in the latter). Things they would always carry with them (optional): wand, a wrist watch he got from his mother on the day he was accepted into Auror training PB: Ryan Phillippe Other:
Health
Disabilities/Handicaps: None Health in general – both mental and physical: Vaisey has a good health in general, though pretending to be someone he isn't can sometime put a strain on his mind. Other:
Personality
First Impression (others have of you): This depends much on who you are. Vaisey is a chameleon, he changes with the people around him and is very skilled at it since this is something he's practised since he was 11 years old. He's a great judge of character and chooses his behaviour accordingly. He's also a bit different to his fellow Aurors and to the circle of Slytherins with whom he likes to spend his time, though not so much as to make people take notice (Aurors working at Escapism might see a change in behaviour, though probably not so much as to pay any real attention) General Behaviour: fun-loving, can't be still for too long or he'll grow bored, adventurous and impulsive, always filled with energy. His social skills are highly refined, he's a brilliant liar, a flirt and a seducer, but before Percy he never let anyone get to him. Losing, and then winning back, Percy however has changed him. He is a bit calmer, less of a flirt, more honest than before. Strengths: Self-reliant, ambitious, energetic, imaginative, adaptable Weaknesses: self-centred, greedy, restless, can be aggressive when pushed. Habits: pretending he's someone he's not, adopting other people's behaviour, flirting (he's slowly learning to live without any of these) Enjoys: Money, action, pleasures and fun, alcohol, luxury, winning Dislikes: not being able to afford what he wants, waiting around, admitting failure, losing Other: Before Percy his highest desire was to be a rich pureblood, and so he'd pretend to be one, guaranteed access by his father's high society name (and his pretend mother's protection). He pretends to have the money he doesn't have through skilled transfiguration of his clothes and a skill to lie and manipulate others. His rather standard flat in Hogsmeade is just for 'convenience' if you were to ask (if he'd let you see it at all), as his manor is too much work and he much prefers the house in Italy anyway…
He hides the fact that he's a halfblood with a normal Muggle mother (who raised him), and pretends to the result of an affair with a rich pureblood woman from abroad. No one questions this as it is a front he's been keeping since Hogwarts, never once slipping, though it was easier to keep up when his father was alive and could make sure to give him the money needed to support his lies (he damns the day his father died, and even more that his grandfather outlived him).
After Percy he is more aware than ever that all this is a lie and for the first time in his life it feels like a lie. He is no longer comfortable with who he pretends to be, and is more willing to let the truth be known. He also cares a lot less about what people thinks about him, as long as Percy is there it's enough.
Family
Spouse/partner (if applicable): Percy Weasley. Parents: Linda Scawton (muggle and held by Roddy) and Marcus Vaisey (high society pureblood - dead). Officially the story is that Vaisey's mother is Emilia Romagna – an Italian pureblood witch. Sibling(s): None Children: Two sons, Aiden Vaisey (previously Edgecombe) and Dylan Bladford - though he doesn't know about Dylan yet. Bloodline: Halfblood, though pretends to be pureblood Family History: As a Vaisey he is high society from birth, with relations that almost all are Death Eaters or Death Eater sympathisers. Through his "mother" he is (not so much) related to the Montagues and other rich pureblood families in Italy. Pets: His mother's cat, Sabina Other: Marcus and Linda fell in love after a chance encounter as they ran into (literary) each other outside the Leaky. He toppled her over when he 'came out of nowhere' and ruined her new dress, buying her a new one – and dinner - as compensation. Knowing his family's (and very much his father's) way of looking at Muggles, Marcus always kept Linda a secret. He never married anyone else, however, and when Linda had his son, he gave him his last name and they raised him as much together as they could. When it was time for Hogwarts, Marcus made up the story that the boy was the child of a pureblood lover, Emilia Romagna - a rich Italian pureblood with a scandalised way of life. As a close friend (past lover) of Marcus, with no children of her own (or a desire to have any) she agreed to this story easily. She is quite fond of "her son" and after Marcus died, she was probably the only one in the wizarding world who knew the truth until recently.
Social/Romantic/Sexual
Close Friendships:True ones? That he really trusts? None. Susan Bones, Percy Weasley, Harry Potter, Pansy Parkinson Other Friendships: Terence Higgs, Miles Bletchley, Cormac Mclaggen Known Enemies: Death Eaters in general, Rodolphus and Bellatrix in particular Sexual Preference: Bi Turn Ons: Good looks, money, flirting, a challenge, red hair, Percy Turn Offs: Bad looks, people who do not care to keep themselves fit, talk of love, marriage and/or children Past Relationships: No relationships, lots of sex. What they think about sex and love Loves sex, lots of it. Love, however, is something new for him though and he's enjoying everything about it at the moment. Other:
Magical
Wand Type:Cedar, dragon heartstring, 12 inches Walnut wood, Chimaera tail scale, 12 1/2 inches. Magical talents: Transfiguration, flying, DADA Magical weaknesses/aversions (what your character can't or won't do): Dark arts – refuse to even try. Anything that requires him to sit down and study (Astrology, Arithmancy, History of Magic, Ancient Runes) First sign of magic – when and what: When he was four his mother took a toy from him when he'd been bad. He wanted the toy, had a temper tantrum, then managed to make it 'fall' from the shelf – twice. Led to a very awkward – Love, there is something I need to tell you – discussion between Marcus and Linda. Boggart: A slamming door (a symbol of his fear of being shut out and shunned) Knows how to Apparate (y/n): Yes Knows how to cast a patronus (y/n – if yes what?): Yes – Norfolk terrier Knows how to use the unforgivables (y/n): No. He tried to use the killing curse on Rodolphus at the battle of Stonehenge, but failed miserably. He's not likely to try again as the attempt landed him in a coma. Other:
Schooling:
Year: (in relation to Harry's year) + 1 House Slytherin Other Affiliations: Quidditch team (chaser) Best subject(s): Transfiguration (brilliant), DADA (good) Poor subject(s): Ancient Runes (he was dreadful) Electives s/he would have taken: CoMC, Ancient Runes (oh he regretted that one bitterly), advanced potions (necessary) Best Mates: He mostly hung around Higgs, Montague and Miles Romantic interests: No one and everyone ;) Level of education reached : NEWT level, then Auror-training Other:
Financial
Current Occupation:Auror He works for Morag, though he has not started yet. The position is one similar to a PI. Other Occupations (side incomes, volunteer work, illegal activities):He sometimes has…less than legal ways of obtaining the money he needs. Namely using his magical ability to steal from and con Muggles. Now that he's living with Percy, he realises that conning people aren't a good idea. It could hurt Percy's career. Monetary Situation: Acceptable for most people – dreadful for him. He has expensive habits, an expensive image to uphold, but no money with which to uphold it. Though now that he lives with Percy things are changing, he's learning less expensive habits and Percy has money that he doesn't mind sharing. Not exactly rich pureblood standard, but comfortable enough. Other:
Current situation
Affiliations & Organisations:Aurors Faction this character supports: Separatists Role in the ongoing war:Auror Fighter, but no longer an Auror
Finally What is your character's deepest, darkest secret (one that other game characters probably wouldn't know and that he/she would prefer they didn't find out about) Also list the names of anyone who might know, or might be suspicious of this knowledge:
* His mother is a Muggle (his mother knows this of course *lol*, Emilia who is posing as his pureblood mother knows this too as does Susan and Percy. Recently Rodolphus found this out and has also told Miles. Cormac has found out through the investigation he is running and Cass doesn't care about protecting this secret as much any more.)
* As a Vaisey, he should be a rich man – but his late grandfather, never trusting his son's story of the pureblood mistress, kept the family fortune from him through his will, giving it instead to the Death Eater cause. The manor is warded against him. This is not something known to society, so he pretends to have the money he should have, and gets through by magic and sometimes through not always completely legal means. (Percy, Susan, Rodolphus, Bellatix, Cormac, Pansy and Harry - ok so maybe not so much of a secret any more)
* He is involved with Percy Weasley (Susan, Pansy, Morag, Cormac and Miles know of the relationship as does Rodolphus. It will be public to all soon enough.) - made public
